π Employee Spotlight: Mike Hook – Service Manager at Granbury KIA
If there’s one thing you notice right away about Mike Hook, it’s that he’s built his career — and life — on hard work, curiosity, and connection.
Mike’s automotive journey began in 1994, when he answered an ad in Baltimore for a Service Advisor trainee position. That simple step sparked a lifelong passion for the automotive world. Over the years, he’s worked with several dealerships and automotive groups before finding his home at Granbury KIA.
But Mike’s story doesn’t stop at cars. In 2006, he followed another dream and opened his first restaurant — proving he’s not afraid to take on new challenges (or probably cook up something delicious).
Outside of work, you’ll find him riding his motorcycle, camping, or cooking — anything that combines freedom, nature, and good food.
Mike also proudly served in the military from 1987 to 2007, totaling 12 years of service across multiple periods. That discipline and dedication still show up in his leadership every day.
A proud father of four grown children, Mike recently purchased a new home in August 2025 — another exciting chapter in a life well-lived.
When asked what keeps him motivated, Mike points to the people:
“The automotive business has been extremely rewarding and provides a great opportunity to meet someone new every day.”
We’re grateful to have Mike leading our Service Department — his experience, heart, and steady hand make Granbury KIA stronger every day.
